Heated Throw Battle: Brookstone vs Sunbeam. Which one is Amazing?

Everyone who knows me also knows that I am always cold. I go through several of these throws a year. My husband is awesome at trying to keep me warm and keeps me well supplied with these throws. Having killed several of these heated throws over the years, I have some feedback for you about the Sunbeam and the Brookstone brand.

On the left is the Brookstone and on the right we have the Sunbeam. Right off the bat you can see the difference in the control panels. I personally prefer the Brookstone. It has four temperature settings, the controls are attached directly to the corner of the throw, and its an easy push of the button to settings. The Sunbeam is also a push button setting but it only has 3 settings, and the controls are attached with the same wiring as the power cord. The controls on both throws light up allowing you to see the setting you have selected. I myself always prefer the highest setting on the Sunbeam and so far, the lowest or second setting for the Brookstone. I noticed the Brookstone wiring seems to be softer or not as thick as the Sunbeam making the Brookstone a more comfortable wrap blanket. Another thing that I really appreciate with the Brookstone, is the control settings are attached to the corner of the throw making it much easier to relax and not have to search for it after you have settled in. The Sunbeam control setting seems to always slip down the crack of the sofa or chair and you end up digging for it and finding alls those unwanted things in the sofa cracks. Ewwww!

These throws are machine washable. Of course you must remove the control cords first.

Wait I did not mention the WARRANTIES! Both have a 5 year warranty. Just make sure you save your receipt.

My choice for the winner of the heated throw challenge is the Amazing Brookstone. Sunbeam you are a maybe if I did not have the option of the Brookstone. Loving my Brookstone for now.
